Ben Croxford is a leading expert in joint pain and arthritis, with over 15 years of clinical experience. Before transitioning exclusively into private practice seven years ago, he spent nine years in the NHS, specialising in musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, neurology, and rheumatology. He has also worked in elite sport, providing specialist care to top-level athletes.
Ben is deeply passionate about changing the way joint pain is managed, driven by a belief that no one should have to simply live with it.
“I feel compelled to be an advocate for those living with joint pain, because far too often, they are told to simply ”live with it”. It’s heartbreaking to see so many patients prescribed painkillers and told that their only option is to wait 15-20 years for a potential joint replacement, all the while watching their life fade away. They become less active, more isolated, and lose their sense of independence. When I hear stories of patients no longer going out with friends, struggling lifting the grandchildren, or considering skipping family holidays because of fear of slowing others down, it really hits home. But it also motivates me to fight for change, to show people that they don’t have to accept pain as part of growing older. We can provide the treatment needed to alleviate pain, restore their mobility, and help them reclaim the life they thought was slipping away.”
Ben combines his extensive clinical expertise with a personalised, patient-focused approach to care, ensuring every individual has the support, treatment, and guidance they need to move beyond pain and back to living life on their terms.
