Booking direct
You can book without a referral.
We are a private clinic, so nobody needs to send us a letter before we can see you. You book, you come in, we assess you and you leave with a plan. If we later think your GP or a consultant should be involved, we will say so and write to them with your permission.
Most people can be seen within a few days. We keep some appointments back each week for problems that have just started, so if something has flared up, call or WhatsApp us and we will try to see you that week.
Appointment types
What you can book.
These are the appointments people book most often.
- Initial assessment, for a new problem or one that has never been properly looked at
- Follow-up assessment, once you have been assessed and have a plan to work through
- Longevity and preventative care, ongoing strength and balance sessions to help you stay strong, steady and independent as you get older
- Sports massage, for tight, sore muscles rather than a specific injury
- Diagnostic ultrasound scan, to look at a tendon, muscle or other soft tissue on site
- Shockwave therapy, used for stubborn tendon problems that have not settled with exercise alone
Not sure what to book
If you do not know which one you need.
Book the Complimentary 15-minute assessment. It is a short appointment with a clinician who will tell you whether physiotherapy is likely to help, and roughly what that would involve if it does. A good many people start there rather than guessing.
Or call or WhatsApp us, describe the problem in a sentence or two, and we will put you with the right person for the right length of time.

Your appointment is confirmed
We will confirm the date, the time and who you are seeing. If you need to change or cancel, call or WhatsApp us, giving at least 48 hours notice.
Wear something you can move in
Loose clothing, or shorts and a vest top you can change into. We need to see the area moving, and that is difficult through jeans or a stiff shirt. There is somewhere to change if you would rather come straight from work.
Park outside and come in
There is parking on site, directly outside the building. If stairs are difficult, tell us when you book so we can see you on the ground floor. Give yourself five minutes to find reception and sit down.
Bring anything you have been given
Scan reports, clinic letters, discharge notes and a list of your medication all help. If you have none of that, come anyway. It is useful rather than essential.
Ready when you are.
